Below is The Yield Hunter 2009 'High Yield Income Model Portfolio'
This is a well diversified model that is dynamic in that we no longer believe that 'buy and hold' is
a viable strategy for any investment vehicle.
By High Yield we mean the underlying company is BELOW investment grade and we believe the
risk/reward equation is at the correct level.
We will model with a $100,000 portfolio and will credit the model with Money Market rates using
Cash Reserves from Fidelity Investments as the Money Market Rate.
The investment goal will be consistently higher than normal returns from interest and dividends
with a secondary goal of capturing capital gains from the purchase of 'mispriced' preferred,
common and debt securities.
